The Madhya Pradesh Employee Selection Board (MPESB) has released a notification for the recruitment of Excise Constables (Abkari Arakshak) for 2024.

The recruitment includes both direct and backlog vacancies under the Excise Department. Interested candidates must apply online within the given timeline.

Qualification

• Candidates must have passed Class 12th (Higher Secondary) from a recognized board.
• No relaxation in educational qualification is permitted.

Age Criteria

• Candidates must be between 18 to 33 years as of 1st January 2024.
• Age Relaxation:
  • SC/ST/OBC (MP Residents): 5 years
  • Female Candidates (MP Residents): 5 years
  • Ex-Servicemen: As per MP Government norms

Selection Process

The recruitment process consists of the following stages:

1. Written Examination (100 Marks)
   • General Knowledge & Logical Reasoning – 40 Marks
   • Intellectual Ability & Mental Aptitude – 30 Marks
   • Science & Basic Mathematics – 30 Marks
2. Physical Measurement Test (PMT)
   • Male Height: 167.5 cm, Chest: 81-86 cm
   • Female Height: 152.4 cm
3. Medical Test – Candidates must meet prescribed health standards.

Salary

Selected candidates will receive a pay scale of ₹19,500 – ₹62,000, along with additional allowances as per government norms.
