Qualification
Executive Branch
- General Service (GS/X) & Hydro Cadre: BE/B.Tech in any discipline with 60% marks.
- Pilot & Naval Air Operations Officer (Observer): BE/B.Tech in any discipline with 60% marks (Must have 60% marks in English in Class X or XII).
- Air Traffic Controller (ATC): BE/B.Tech with 60% marks.
- Logistics:
- BE/B.Tech in any discipline with First Class, or
- MBA with First Class, or
- B.Sc/B.Com/B.Sc (IT) with First Class along with PG Diploma in Finance, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or Material Management, or
- MCA/M.Sc (IT) with First Class.
Education Branch
- M.Sc (Maths/Physics/Chemistry/Applied Physics) with 60% marks and B.Sc in relevant subjects.
- BE/B.Tech with 60% marks in Mechanical, Electrical, or Electronics & Communication Engineering.
- M.Tech in specialized engineering fields with 60% marks.
Technical Branch
- Engineering Branch (General Service – GS): BE/B.Tech with 60% marks in Mechanical, Marine, Aeronautical, Production, or related engineering fields.
- Electrical Branch (General Service – GS): BE/B.Tech with 60% marks in Electrical, Electronics, Power, Instrumentation, Telecommunication, or related fields.
- Naval Constructor: BE/B.Tech with 60% marks in Mechanical, Civil, Aeronautical, Naval Architecture, Ship Design, or related fields.
Age Criteria
- Candidates must be born between 2nd January 2001 and 1st July 2006 for most entries.
- Specific branches have different birth date eligibility; refer to the official notification.

Selection Process
- Shortlisting based on normalized marks in the qualifying degree.

Salary
- Sub Lieutenant (SLt): Starting salary of ₹1,10,000/- per month (approximately) plus allowances.
- Additional allowances for specialized branches (e.g., ₹31,250 for Pilot/NAOO specialization).
