Hindustan Copper Limited (HCL) has released a notification for the recruitment of 103 Workmen Posts at Khetri Copper Complex in Rajasthan.

HCL is a Miniratna Central Public Sector Enterprise engaged in copper mining and production. Interested candidates can apply online before 25th February 2025.

Qualification

Candidates must fulfill the educational qualifications as per the post:

1. Chargeman (Electrical)
   • Diploma in Electrical Engineering with 1-year experience in mining installations as a supervisor after obtaining a Supervisory Certificate of Competency.
   • OR ITI (Electrical) with 3 years of experience in mining installations as a supervisor after acquiring a Supervisory Certificate.
   • OR 10th pass with 5 years of experience in mining installations as a supervisor after acquiring a Supervisory Certificate.
2. Electrician ‘A’
   • ITI (Electrical) with 4 years of experience as an Electrician.
   • OR 10th pass with 7 years of experience as an Electrician.
   • Must possess a valid wireman permit from the Government Electrical Inspector.
3. Electrician ‘B’
   • ITI (Electrical) with 3 years of experience as an Electrician.
   • OR 10th pass with 6 years of experience as an Electrician.
   • Must possess a valid wireman permit from the Government Electrical Inspector.
4. WED ‘B’ (Winding Engine Driver)
   • Diploma with 1-year experience in the relevant field.
   • OR Graduate (BA/B.Sc./B.Com/BBA) with 1-year experience.
   • OR Apprenticeship with 3 years of experience.
   • OR 10th pass with 6 years of experience.
   • Must possess a valid 1st Class Winding Engine Driver’s Certificate.

Age Criteria

• Maximum Age: 40 years (as of 01.01.2025).

Age Relaxation

• SC/ST Candidates: 5 years
• OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) Candidates: 3 years
• Meritorious Sports Persons: 5 years (10 years for SC/ST)
• Ex-Servicemen: As per government rules

Key Skills

Candidates should have:

• Technical knowledge relevant to their trade.
• Problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work in a team.
• Knowledge of safety protocols in mining/electrical work.

Selection Process

The selection process consists of two stages:

1. Written Test (100 Marks)
   • Subject Knowledge (Trade-specific): 80 Marks
   • General Knowledge: 20 Marks
2. Trade Test & Writing Ability Test (Qualifying in nature)
   • Minimum qualifying marks:
     • SC/ST – 35 Marks
     • OBC (NCL) – 38 Marks
     • UR/EWS – 40 Marks
   • Candidates will be called for the Trade Test in a 1:3 ratio based on written test scores.

Salary

Selected candidates will receive a salary as per the Industrial Dearness Allowance (IDA) pay scale:
