East Central Railway ECR Patna Various Trade Apprentices 2025 for 1154 Post

The Railway Recruitment Cell (RRC), East Central Railway (ECR), has released a notification for the recruitment of Act Apprentices under the Apprentices Act, 1961.

A total of 1154 apprentice slots are available across various divisions and units of East Central Railway. Interested candidates can apply online before 14th February 2025.

Qualification

To be eligible for the RRC ECR Apprentice Recruitment 2025, candidates must meet the following educational qualifications:

• Matriculation (10th Class) Pass with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks from a recognized board.
• ITI Certificate in the relevant trade issued by NCVT/SCVT.

It is essential for candidates to ensure that they have completed both 10th and ITI in the relevant trade before applying.

Age Criteria

• Minimum Age: 15 years (as of 01.01.2025)
• Maximum Age: 24 years (as of 01.01.2025)

Age Relaxation:

• SC/ST Candidates: 5 years
• OBC Candidates: 3 years
• PwBD Candidates: 10 years (UR), 13 years (OBC), 15 years (SC/ST)
• Ex-Servicemen: Total military service plus 3 years (subject to completion of at least six months regular attested service)

Key Skills

Candidates applying for this apprenticeship should possess:

• Basic knowledge of trade-related skills
• Ability to work in a team
• Good technical understanding of their respective trade
• Willingness to learn and adapt to the railway working environment

Selection Process

The selection will be merit-based, considering:

1. Matriculation Percentage: Minimum 50% aggregate
2. ITI Marks: Average percentage of marks in both Matriculation and ITI will be considered
3. Tie-Breaker: If two candidates have the same marks, the one with older age will be preferred. If age is also the same, the candidate who passed Matriculation earlier will be considered first.
4. Final Selection: Candidates will be called for document verification and medical examination.

Salary

• Stipend will be paid as per the government rules during the apprenticeship training.
• No additional allowances or benefits will be provided.
