North Eastern Railway NER RRC Gorakhpur Various Trade Apprentices 2025 for 1104 Post

The North Eastern Railway (NER) has released a notification for Act Apprentice Training for the year 2025-26 under the Apprentices Act, 1961.

This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals interested in gaining apprenticeship training in various trades such as fitter, welder, carpenter, electrician, and more across multiple units.

A total of 1,104 slots are available for this training program in various workshops and units under NER.

Qualification

Candidates must meet the following criteria to be eligible for the training program:

• Educational Qualification: The applicant should have passed High School (10th) with at least 50% marks and hold an ITI certificate in the relevant trade. The qualification must be completed by January 24, 2025.
• Physical Standard: Candidates must submit a medical certificate from an authorized medical officer during the document verification process.

Candidates with engineering degrees or diplomas are not eligible to apply.

Age Criteria

• Minimum Age: 15 years as of January 24, 2025.
• Maximum Age: 24 years as of January 24, 2025.
• Relaxation:
  • SC/ST: 5 years
  • OBC: 3 years
  • Divyang (PwBD): 10 years

Selection Process

The selection of candidates will be based on a merit list prepared by averaging the percentage of marks in both matriculation (10th grade) and ITI. Equal weightage will be given to both scores. Shortlisted candidates will be called for document verification at Gorakhpur.

Salary

The selected apprentices will receive a stipend as per the rules and guidelines set by the Central Apprenticeship Council.
