The Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) has announced recruitment for Constable/Driver and Constable/Driver-Cum-Pump Operator (Driver for Fire Services) positions. These posts are temporary but likely to become permanent and are open to eligible male Indian citizens.

Qualification
Educational Qualification:
Candidates must have passed Matriculation (10th) or equivalent from a recognized board. Certificates issued by other boards must be accompanied by a government notification declaring the qualification equivalent to Matriculation.
Driving License:
Candidates must possess valid driving licenses for the following vehicle types:
- Heavy Motor Vehicle (HMV) or Transport Vehicle
- Light Motor Vehicle (LMV)
- Motorcycle with gear
Experience:
Applicants should have at least three years of experience driving HMV, LMV, and motorcycles with gear. The experience will be calculated from the date of issuance of the LMV license.
Age Criteria
- Minimum: 21 years
- Maximum: 27 years (as of 04/03/2025)
- Age relaxation is applicable as follows:
- SC/ST: 5 years
- OBC: 3 years
- Government servants: Up to 40 years (General, OBC, EWS) and 45 years (SC/ST)
- Dependents of riot victims (1984 and 2002): Additional 5 years

Selection Process
The recruitment process involves the following stages:
- Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Physical Standard Test (PST)
- Documentation
- Trade Test
- Written Examination (OMR/CBT mode) in English and Hindi
- Detailed Medical Examination (DME)
Candidates must qualify in each stage to proceed to the next. Final selection will be based on the performance in the written examination, subject to other qualifying conditions.
Salary
Selected candidates will be placed in Level-3 of the pay matrix, receiving Rs. 21,700 – Rs. 69,100 per month along with admissible allowances as per Central Government norms.
