Bihar Police CSBC Constable Recruitment 2025

The Bihar Police Constable recruitment is open for both male and female candidates. Selected candidates will be responsible for maintaining law and order, ensuring public safety, and assisting senior officers in various security operations.

Qualification

To apply for the Bihar Police Constable post, candidates must fulfill the following educational criteria:

• Must have passed 10+2 (Intermediate) from a recognized board.
• Candidates with equivalent qualifications approved by the Bihar Government are also eligible.
• Preference may be given to candidates with sports achievements or NCC certification.

Age Criteria

The age limit for candidates is calculated as of 01 August 2025:

• General Category: 18 to 25 years
• OBC/EBC (Male): 18 to 27 years
• OBC/EBC (Female): 18 to 28 years
• SC/ST (Male & Female): 18 to 30 years
• Ex-Servicemen: Age relaxation as per Bihar Government norms

Selection Process

The recruitment process consists of three stages:

1. Written Exam:
   • Objective-type questions
   • Subjects include Hindi, English, Mathematics, and General Knowledge
   • Minimum 30% marks required to qualify
2. Physical Efficiency Test (PET):
   • Running: 1.6 km in 6 minutes (Male), 1 km in 5 minutes (Female)
   • Shot Put and High Jump tests
3. Document Verification & Medical Examination:
   • Candidates must pass all physical and medical standards as per the department’s guidelines.

Salary

Selected candidates will receive a salary based on Level-3 Pay Scale (Rs. 21,700 – Rs. 69,100) along with other government allowances.
