Qualifications

Educational Qualifications

1. Essential:
   • 10th Class pass under the 10+2 system with a minimum of 50% marks (aggregate).
   • Must possess an ITI Certificate in the relevant trade issued by NCVT/SCVT.
2. Important Notes:
   • Candidates awaiting results cannot apply.
   • Relevant ITI trade certificates are mandatory for the trade applied.

Age Criteria

• Minimum Age: 15 years
• Maximum Age: 24 years (as of December 10, 2024)

Age Relaxation:

• SC/ST: 5 years
• OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): 3 years
• PwBD: 10 years
• Ex-Servicemen: Relaxation equivalent to service rendered plus 3 years, up to a maximum of 10 years.

Key Skills

• Proficiency in the applied trade.
• Physical fitness as per medical standards.
• Ability to adapt to workshop and field environments.

Selection Process

1. Merit List Preparation:
   • Based on the average of marks obtained in 10th Class and ITI.
   • Candidates with older age will be given preference in case of a tie.

3. Medical Fitness:
   • Candidates must provide a medical fitness certificate issued by a government-authorized doctor.
